Keith Millard is a former professional American football player who played as a defensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on March 18, 1962 in Pleasanton, California. Millard played college football at Washington State University before being drafted in the first round of the 1984 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings.
Millard played for the Minnesota Vikings from 1985 to 1990 and was considered one of the best defensive linemen in the league during his career. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1989.
In addition to playing for the Vikings, Millard also had stints with the Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks, and Philadelphia Eagles before retiring in 1992. After his playing career, he became a coach at the college and professional levels, working with teams such as the Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, and Oakland Raiders.
